About the university
Harbin Institute of Technology (哈尔滨工业大学, HIT) was founded in 1920 and is one of China's strongest engineering universities. It is a member of the C9 League and the 985, 211 and Double First-Class programmes. The main campus is in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, with further campuses in Weihai and Shenzhen.
